Melissa Cole
Artist blacksmith Melissa’s sculptures have an intimate and delicate nature belying the strength of their construction. Based on imagined expressions of emotions and subtle posturing within relationships each unique to their moment of creation, the works are inspired by form found in human, animal and bird life. The medium of forged steel & wrought iron from which Melissa creates her sculpture is intrinsic to the work she makes. Commissions welcome and courses in basic forge work available each month.
